UniPixel Awarded 20th Design Win of 2016 To Include XTouch™ and Diamond Guard™

(NASDAQ: UNXL), a provider of advanced touch solutions to the touchscreen and flexible electronics markets, today announced the 20th design win awarded to the Company since the beginning of calendar 2016. An existing major PC customer has awarded the business to include UniPixel’s XTouch touchscreen sensors and its Diamond Guard hardcoat for a 15.6-inch laptop computer targeted to the consumer market to maximize touchscreen responsiveness and seamlessly support the Microsoft Pen protocol.

Volume production for this program is expected to commence in the first quarter of calendar 2017. The announcement of this new product win, plus the programs originally acquired in the April 2015 acquisition, the others awarded this year and the one product announced late in 2015, brings to 24 the total number of programs awarded to UniPixel.
